5th February 2009
Premium product logistics provider Cert Octavian has been awarded a two-year contract with Moët-Hennessy UK Ltd, the world’s leading luxury wines and spirits house.Following a substantial tender process, Cert Octavian will handle the warehousing and distribution of more than 500 SKUs, including Krug, Dom Pérignon and Veuve Clicquot champagnes, plus wines and spirits including Glenmorangie whisky and Cloudy Bay wines. The two-year contract (with the option of being extended for an additional 12 months) will commence on 1 March 2009, however deep-sea stock has already begun arriving at Cert Octavian’s Hoddesdon site this month.
Cert Octavian’s premium product logistics capabilities and fine wine storage expertise has also recently attracted Jeroboams’ private client base of fine wine collectors and investors, whose collections are stored at Cert Octavian’s leading fine wine storage facility, Corsham Cellars.
Anthony Finlayson-Green, managing director, said: “We are pleased to begin the year with such a significant contract win that follows a very successful peak performance across all of our sites.
“We have been working to achieve Cert Octavian’s full potential as a premium logistics provider since the transformation of our business in 2007, and to be handed responsibility for some of the world’s leading luxury champagne, wine and spirit brands illustrates that our expertise has been recognised.”
