To improve efficiency and keep errors to a minimum, we have invested in a sophisticated EDI interchange, which allows you to place orders directly onto our Warehousing Management System.
This allows us to:

Maintaining high standards of stock accuracy also enables us to conduct real time Perpetual Inventory (PI) checks on every pick completed, and perform PI checks on all racked and pick locations. For even greater precision, we supplement this with an annual blind stock count.
We also ‘blind-check' all deliveries to our warehouses and produce detailed inventories.
To reduce errors in picking and storing, your pallet locations are allocated individual codes. Individual pallet positions are then provided with specific labels and check-digits, which can be cross-checked against our warehousing system and verified by your dedicated account team. This allows us to pick orders by pallet, carton and unit, and reduces the risk of returns or refusals.
The system also permits stock to be sourced by location in the warehouse, so we can reduce lead times and operate a delivery time frame to suit your individual requirements.
Smart palletisation.
To reduce your transportation costs and maximise efficiency, we utilise sophisticated palletisation software. This calculates the optimum load for each pallet and maximises available warehouse space.
Secure stock disposal.
As a result of our extensive network of contacts, we can also help to maximise your profits from end-of-range and end-of-line stock, and generate additional income. This is a valuable service for customers with packaged food, drink or cosmetics that are nearing their sell-by date.
